Having been amongst the leaders in the social housing marketplace for over 40 years, our client`s work naturally encompasses everything you would expect from a specialist housing contractor, whether this work is new build, refurbishment, heating maintenance or major community regeneration projects both as contractor and as developer. Much of their success is due to being experienced practitioners and passionate advocates for long-term collaborative working relationships covering many decent homes strategic partnerships and housing association joint ventures throughout London.
This year sees the retirement of a number of long-serving members of staff and our client is taking this opportunity to carry out a strategic restructure to reflect the change in the social housing sector and position themselves at the forefront of the market.
Having already made successful steps towards this planned restructure they are now looking to identify the following key individuals to augment their senior management team.
Commercial Director – North Kent
This is a new position specifically created to reflect the change in procurement of work with the social housing sector. Reporting to the newly appointed Managing Director you will be responsible for the management of the established estimating department as well as providing commercial support to the building teams working with Housing Associations in identifying and securing work through innovation and creative thinking.
It is essential that candidates can demonstrate a successful track record of commercial achievement across the whole spectrum of social housing together with previous involvement with stand alone speculative residential development and schemes utilising cross subsidy.
